Born in Waco, Texas, lives and works in New York. American experimental theatre stage director and playwright, known for his avant-garde theatre works. He has also been a choreographer, performer, painter, sculptor, video artist and sound and lighting designer. In 1991, Wilson established The Watermill Center as a “laboratory for performance”.
